 How to get most out of your USCE during the interview
    Whether your observership/ externship was in an Ivy League university Hospital with a
    world renowned physician or with a neighborhood primary care physician, the thing which
    matters the most is how you sell it during the interview.
      You have to tell them that you experience was great, show them how excited and interested
      you are about it.  Tell them you have learned a lot about US healthcare system (this is the
      point which really matters) eg how the patients are seen in office setting or how rounds are
      conducted in the hospital. How the team of residents work with the attending and consultants,       how the pts are admitted /discharged from the hospital. You can mention about things like
      benefits of multidisciplinary rounds. Use of EMR.  Your experience of case presentations by
      the residents, morning reports, noon conferences, grand rounds etc. Furthermore , things
      like emphasis on evidence based medicine, hand hygiene and compliance with HIPPA rules.

 6)You can be asked about your of the pre-interview dinner the night before or other interviews
     earlier during the day.
