Who are AIMGs

AIMGs or American International Medical Graduates are Medical Graduates who typically are United States Citizens (sometimes Canadian) but have completed their Medical Education at Offshore medical schools (Mainly Caribbean). That includes basic science training at Caribbean and clinical clerkship at teaching hospital in United States.

There should be differentiated from typical IMGs or International Medical Graduates because
  1) They dont need a visa for residency in US
  2) They already have US clinical experience
  3) They originally belong to united states and don't face the cultural challenges and language skills
      problems faced by typical IMGs
